| Did you know that child labor laws don't apply if your family runs a restaurant? Wild. I bet it applies to farms and other businesses, too.
I am in a family run business that is on the brink of closing. Should I hang in there and try to get them through, or should I bail out & find something new? -N
Make a list of the pros & cons, and watch out for mysterious infinite "family obligations". To get out of such, get a friend & measure what's really appropriate and don't be guilted into more. People in your family, if they love you, should respect your needs too. Don't jump ship until you have a new job & don't stay if you can't survive financially.
