It's easy for adults to downplay or ridicule the concerns of children. At first glance, this question is cute. It would have been easy to write a humorous reply that said "Silly child! Just wait!". But teens are people and their pain is real. I tried to give it a real answer that shows respect.

I've never had a boyfriend and I'm almost 16. People 1/2 my age have had boyfriends. Why?

The most attractive element a person can have is confidence & you get it by being active in working out life problems & backing away from people & responsibilities that just aren't healthy.

Maybe you should work on that, or maybe you've been smart about turning down immature boys. Maybe you've been too shy. Get active & you make the first move towards a boy you like.

Dear Friend,

I am 60-plus --

+ want to love a man again -- + to be loved --- Who?

Where? Wanna find him -- where?

You can find him but you need to be brave in putting yourself out there.

Go online, talk with people in the mall, get your friends to introduce you to people, join a hobby club, aim for one date a week and at that rate it won't take long!

I'm 40. He is 66. We are passionately in love.

Do you think our love lasts?

And why do you think so?

Love starts on instinct, but it kept going on the deposits & withdrawals you make. When two people are givers, there's no reason for love to end.

Don't worry about age.

Just ask yourself, is my partner good to me?
