There's so much good in the world. But you have to be willing to see it. :)

I am starting to contact venues about a possible location for a 2nd installation for Wheel Questions, Wheel Answers! It would need to be some place I could get to easily on a regular basis from Somerville to collect and answer questions. What's your suggestion? Email me.
When will this country start seeing better days?
|
We've never seen such a high standard of living, such a low rate of illness, and so many technological conveniences.
We've never seen so many social freedoms or fewer wars around the world.
These are the better times and anyway, it's up to you to sort out your way to happiness. What now?

How can we get ourselves to appreciate what we have instead of always wanting more?
|
Make a list of things you are grateful for, like instant coffee or national parks, modern dentistry or your friend who calls you.
Everything that makes you smile. Carry around a notebook and write more things as you think of them throughout your day. Look around & be more observant and your list will have 500 items!
When you're sad on one day, use it to know it's a great life!

Did you know that there are fewer wars worldwide than at any time in history? People often have a feeling that things are getting worse. This feeling is ill-informed. Educate yourself and be happy. Life is good.

Do you find it difficult to be proud of, and remain optimistic of, modern day America?
Mozart lived to 35 and died of illness at a time when life was short.
You'll probably live to 100 given advances in technology, and trends in social & political freedoms & fewer wars & poverty & death worldwide are just getting better.
What kind of delusion are you in, questioning optimism? Even if we hit a depression it's still the best life ever, ever.

Another pic of the new tree being planted.

How do we accept life as it is in any moment?
Some moments are much easier than others
Take a small card & write 10 things that make you happy. Carry that around in your wallet.
It will remind you when you're having a bad day that you're having a great life, and you have so much power to change it for the better.
Make some plans -- you will feel empowered & more hopeful.

I'm taking my best friend to an amusement park today for his birthday.
Not everything is perfect in his life right now, but embracing life
is going to give him strength. And me too.
How can I find peace within myself and the world that is so fierce?
Forgive yourself.
Forgive others.
Don't give your heart to people who aren't good to you.
Don't make guesses; learn what truly makes you happy & what doesn't.
Embrace life & don't fret!

Today I managed to finish all of the outer spiral, the marble patio in the center of the Abyss in the garden. It is hard to lay down perfectly level marble slabs! I have a lot of respect for bricklayers now. And love for the world, as I hope this person below may find.

How can I find God when our world is so horrible?
In 1945 there were 20 democracies in the world.
Now there are over 100.
In 1900 the average life expectancy was 40.
Now it is 76.
You need a serious reality check. Life is great!
Since God's not working apparently, get tested for depression?
*HUGS* :)
